My Life Doings

I have like 50 people I've been meaning to call or email about my life, but have failed. So here's some updates and what the new year looks like for me.

For those of you that don't know I babysat 2 of my neighbors/cousins from August to December. I loved it and the little munchkins. I honesty don't know what I would have done if I didn't have that job for those months.  The little monkeys kept me sane with their ridiculousness and love.  Plus their parents were also wonderful and caring.  So they made the whole transition out of college bearable. A part of me will probably always be like why did I have to leave, but now is not the time to get into that.

Now I am employed at SPARC in Springfield, IL.  I start working Jan 16 and I'm moving up the 14.  Simply put they work with adults with disabilities.  I'll be working as the life enrichment and event coordinator at one of their workshop areas where some of their clients will come for the day. I'll be living with a family in Chatham that I've met through school while I start out.

In all honesty, its still really weird that I'll be moving and getting a real job. Even tho babysitting was a real job.  It felt like summer break to me in a way, because that's usually when I would babysit. Anyways, here's to a new year and a new job.  My goal is to write things on here, but no promises.
